About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of California, and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Oregon. I have been working with individuals and couples for more than 13 years. I hold an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco, CA, a holistic program devoted to the understanding of consciousness, inner development and cultural diversity. I also hold an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and bring a strong creative and intuitive component to my work as a therapist and a coach.

My interest in psychology, inner development, and relationships has taken me from Ramana Maharshi’s Ashram in Tiruvannamalai, India to the internationally-acclaimed Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California where I lived in community and studied relationship and process group models for almost two years. I have been a student of Gestalt therapy and active navel-gazer for more than 25 years and have experienced the transformative potential that comes with a15-year Hatha yoga practice. My life experience and world travel is wide and diverse, and I bring a broad perspective and worldview to my work that has enabled me to relate to almost anyone and what they might be going through. I am a curious individual, impassioned by the idea of being awake in life and love.
